Ⅰ.Overview
XGN-12 switchboard is suitable for single busbar systems with power levels of 10KV three-phase AC 50Hz to accept and distribute power. The switchboard is new generation small power equipment used in cities and rural areas. which is distinguished with features as small volume, low cost, safety and dependability, simple in running and operation, and accommodates to the demand of power market, reform of city and rural power grids, and packaged substaions.
This switchgear is case metal-enclosed structure. In accordance with the national standard GB3906 and international standardIEC298, protection degreeIP2X. The metal-enclosed structure effectively prevents short-circuit failure by intruders .
When air insulation distance between polar to polar or polar to ground ≤125mm, porcelain support insulators (≥8000N) is applied. All these ensure higher insulation intensity and stability.
Breakers, both upper and lower insulation switches, grounding switches and interlock mechanisms between doors all takes force mechanical lock mode to meet the requirement of "five- prevention".
Ⅱ.Environmental conditions
1.Ambient temperature: -45℃ ~ + 45℃;
2.Altitude≤4,000m;
3.Humidity:Relative humidity: daily average value is not exceeding 95%, monthly average value is not exceeding 90%;
4.Intensity: not over 8°, horizontal acceleration ≤0.4g, vertical acceleration≤0.5g;
5. level of protection: live body seal IP67, fuse tube lP67, switchgear housing IP3X;
6.Places without fire, explosion risk, serious pollution, chemical corrosion and violent vibration.
7.Special service conditions: the user should consult with the manufacturer when the switchgear is not under normal service conditions.

Ⅳ.Features
1. XGN-12 uses SF6 gas as extinguishing arc and insulation medium.
2. It is a completely sealed and insulation system with a stainless steel tank containing all the live parts and switching functions. A sealed steel tank filled with 1.4bar SF6 gas can reach IP67 protection level. The whole switchgear device is with constant atmospheric conditions which ensures a high level of reliability as well as personnel safety and a virtually maintenance-free system.
3. The switchgear has reliable safety pressure relief arrangement, which ensures the personnel safety even under extreme conditions.
4. It has fixed unit combination and extendible unit combination.
5. The inlet and outlet are normally designed in the front side of the switchgear, but it can be provided with side outlet or side extension.
6. It is easy to install and suitable in narrow place in bad environment condition.
7. It can be supplied with motor, remote contral and monitoring unit based on the customer’s request.
